For 23 issues now, you have witnessed the mercurial rise and extraordinary evolution of the Invicta watch brand. Now, for the first time ever, we’re giving you an unprecedented look inside one of our Swiss workshops.

Many of our most popular models like the Lupah Vórtice are assembled here by hand. It is an extraordinary facility that blends time-honored tradition with modern day technology.

This is a rare opportunity offered by very few watch companies. But after all, offering you the rare opportunity is what Invicta is all about.

The workshop employs highly skilled watchmakers from Switzerland and Italy.   A Vórtice dial is set on a Swiss-made Startech movement.
A master craftsman inspects the pinpoint placement of the sweep second hand.   Once all hands are set, a camera checks for level spacing.
After the cases are closed, they are subject to many water pressure tests.   During the last step, as well as throughout the process, the watches are inspected for fit and finish.

There are over 100 steps in the hand assembly process. Which is an incredible statistic, given the tremendously reasonable price points of our Swiss-made product.

We hope you enjoyed this exclusive look.

Also known as “The Lefty,” this new piece has already become a favorite with southpaws. Powered by a professional chronograph movement with the crown and pushers positioned on the left-hand side, the Terra has so much rugged appeal, even right-handers will give it consideration. Its 46mm case is constructed of solid surgical grades stainless steel and frames a handsome dial that features a tachymeter, a date window at 4, three sub-dials and Tritnite® markers and hands. It’s complimented by a burly genuine leather strap with contrast stitching.

You won’t be surprised if vintage-styled pieces become a hot trend again in the very near future. And you’ll be less surprised to learn that it’s because of pieces like the new Romara. This 40’s-style stunner has a modern flair highlighted by its elegant, yet slightly oversized, round case and unique lugs. Alternating Roman and Arabic steel markers frame the beautiful guilloché work on the dial. And the decorated automatic Swiss movement is displayed brilliantly through the screwed in case back. A genuine leather strap completes the piece.

In 2004, we introduced the S1 Concept Racing Watch and it disappeared faster than the European racing machines that inspired it. Now, the S1 returns as a hot-looking chronograph that may just set a few land speed records of its own. Motored by a professional Swiss chronograph movement, the new S1 features a fantastic checker flag pattern dial comprised entirely of raw carbon fiber, and is available in two unique shades. And like the original S1, the new chrono’s genuine leather strap is embellished with stainless steel racing accents unique to the S1 nameplate.

You don’t become a premier watchmaker by crossing your fingers or clicking the heels of your ruby red slippers. You do it by creating watches like the dual zone TransAtlantic, one of our most popular in recent years. Just its presence on your wrist will have you thinking differently about the words “business class.” Twin Swiss-made movements are housed in an easy touch dual face case system that effortlessly flips to reveal the new genuine mother-of-pearl and intricately detailed enamel dials. The hand detailing on the solid surgical grade stainless steel inner case cradle is also something to admire as you switch from zone to zone.

Celebrity Poker Showoffs: We were back in Vegas for yet another round of Celebrity Poker Showdown. Among the Kings and Queens at the table were Hollywood veteran James Woods, The West Wing’s Dule Hill, Days of Our Lives’ Alison Sweeney, and one-time Superman, Dean Cain.

Street Smarts: Two large Invicta posters dominated the windows of the NYC’s Tourneau Time Machine in July. The new Terra Chronograph and the 1959 Russian Diver were seen by the nearly half a million passersby each day.

When the 1959 Russian Diver was unveiled, it sparked a renewed interest in timepieces that have a rugged, military-style appearance. Watches like the Russian Diver and the Terra Chronograph (above) appeal to collectors who appreciate a masculine timekeeper with a retro feel. So for those looking to add to their platoon of pieces, we proudly submit the new Grunt Chronograph. Equipped with a professional 1/20th of-a-second chronograph movement, the Grunt is a stout land and sea instrument constructed of solid 316L stainless steel. It features a coin-edged finish on the case, a tachymeter on the bezel, a unique marker sequence on the dial, contrast stitching on the burly genuine leather strap, and a crown bridge to relieve pressure on the stem when diving to 200 meters. Beat it up or dress it up, either way, the Grunt – and this hot trend – will keep marching in time.
